         Newaygo, Mich., December 1, -
         JOHN VOLMER, a hotel keeper and merchant
       of Lilly, in this county, was instantly
       killed by his teams running away with him
       Friday evening. He had driven to the depot
       with his wife and the team became frantic
       and unmanageable. MRS. VOLMER was seriously
       injured but will recover.
