         Newaygo, Mich., August 14 -
         Cut to pieces by car wheels, the body of
         FRANK LESLIE, a carpenter, aged 45, was
         found on the Pere Marquette track at
         Newaygo lake, three miles northwest of
         here, early this morning by the crew of
         a freight train. LESLIE, who lived near
         the lake, had been doing some work at
         Bailey and it is supposed that in attempt-
         ing to alight from a passenger train at
         his home he fell under the wheels. He
         is survived by a widow and two or three
         children. JOHN FAIRBROTHERS, of White
         Cloud, was his father-in-law.
