         Mysterious Death at White Cloud
         
         White Cloud, Mich., June 29 - 
         JAMES BRACE, 23 years old, proprietor of a
       local drug store, was found dead in the morn-
       ing in his room, over his place of business.
       He was last seen alive Sunday morning at the
       Atlantic hotel, where he ate breakfast, and
       since which time his store has not been opened.
       His room and store were broken into and BRACE
       was found lying on the bed with a blood-satur-
       ated handkerchief in one hand. A bottle con-
       taining chloroform was on a chair near by.
       It is thought the young man had a hemorrhage
       of the lungs and took an overdose of chloro-
       form unintentionally.
