         CYRUS BABCOCK, 74,
         Railroad Worker at
         White Cloud, Dies
         
         White Cloud, July 28. - (Special)
         - CYRUS BABCOCK, 74 years old, an employe of the
       Pere Marquette railroad here until he retired a few
       years ago, died Thursday at his home here.
         He was born Dec. 10, 1869 in Newaygo county and
       was married in Grand Rapids in 1912. The couple
       lived here since.
         Survivors are the widow, MARTHA, one brother,
       WILLIAM, in Sparta and two brothers and two sisters,
       living in Flint.
         Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Matt
       Mullen, pastor of the Methodist church, in the
       Crandall & Ensing funeral chapel, Saturday at 10
       a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
