Her companion, a White Cloud high school senior, was also over- come a taken to a hospital but was later released. Newaygo County Undersheriff ROBERT DOUGGAN said a passing motorist found NANCY GOYINGS, 19, of White Cloud, dead, and LEWELLYN WHITE, 18, ill on M-37 three miles north of White Cloud about 4 a.m. WHITE said his car had been stuck in a snowdrift beside the road and that he had put on chains. Once back on the highway, he said, he had sought to remove the chains while Miss GOYINGS held a flash- light. WHITE said he became ill and crawled into the car. He said he regained consciousness when the motorist halted to investigate. ==========================================================================
