The Pentwater News

           The Pentwater Times issued its last number on Wednesday
         of this week, its proprietors not having succeeded in mak-
         ing it a financial success, and the material is to be at
         once removed to Fremont Center, Newaygo Co., where the
         Times, we sincerely hope, will enter upon a prosperous
         career. Its proprietors have been industrious and have
         succeeded in making a lively local paper, but their mis-
         take was in over-estimating the ability of our village
         to support two papers. We hope the citizens of Fremont
         Center will give them an undivided and liberal patron-
         age, and we are confident that they will find that the
         money they invest in printer's ink, will yield them a
         generous return.
