The victims were RICHARD KRIEGER, 12, and FLORIAN KRIEGER, 9, sons of Mr. and Mrs. FRANK KRIEGER of Chicago. The fire, cause of which was unde- termined, had gained such headway before it was discovered by Mr. and Mrs. PAULSEN, sleeping on the first floor, that they barely had time to rescue their own child and escape through a window. The TRIGGER (sic) children were asleep in the second story, with all avenues of escape cut off. The PAULSEN home was destroyed. ==========================================================================
