              TWO CHILDREN DIE
                IN BURNING HOUSE
                
              Trapped in Flaming Farm
               Residence Three Miles
               North of White Cloud
               
             WHITE CLOUD, July 18 (AP) - Two
           children were burned to death early
           Friday when they were trapped in the
           flaming farm residence of an uncle,
           WILLIAM PAULSEN, three miles north
           of here.
             The victims were RICHARD KRIEGER,
           12, and FLORIAN KRIEGER, 9, sons of
           Mr. and Mrs. FRANK KRIEGER of Chicago.
             The fire, cause of which was unde-
           termined, had gained such headway
           before it was discovered by Mr. and
           Mrs. PAULSEN, sleeping on the first
           floor, that they barely had time to
           rescue their own child and escape
           through a window. The TRIGGER (sic)
           children were asleep in the second
           story, with all avenues of escape
           cut off.
             The PAULSEN home was destroyed.
