THE LOSS BETWEEN $18,000 and $20,000, WITH LIGHT INSURANCE. Newaygo, February 7. - (Special) - A disastrous fire at White Cloud early this morning destroyed a frame row of seven store buildings and three dwellings. The fire was first seen issuing from the roof of JOHN HARWOOD'S building, which was occupied by T. E. VAN FLEET, jeweler. The fire spread rapidly east and west. The water works were out of order and but little was saved. The following are the losses: JOHN HARWOOD, building, $1,000, no insurance; T. E. VAN FLEET, $500, no insurance; R. F. TRASK, postmaster, two buildings, $2,500, furniture and postoffice outfit, $2,500; insured for $1,800 in the Niagara; PURCELL Bros., hardware, $1,000, no insurance; S. N. REED, drugs and telephone office, $800, no insurance; C. H. BECKER, barber shop, $1,000, $500 insurance; R. J. DOYLE, building, $1,000, no insurance; T. A. BRADFORD, building, $1,000; household furniture, $8,000, insurance, $400; J. B. MURRAY, grocery, $2,000, insurance, $1,000; WILLIAM NOBLE, building, $1,000, household furniture, $800; insurance, $400; CHAS. TOWNSEND, dwelling and furniture, $2,500; poorly insured. ===========================================================================
