W. Crawford's mill and lumber yard at Otia, Newaygo Co., eighteen miles south- west of Big Rapids, was totally destroyed by fire. It is supposed that it caught from wood fires. Seven or eight million feet of lumber burned. The total loss is $90,000. The lumber was owned by different parties and was insured for $50,000 in the Burtch Company's agency. ===============================================================================
