He was innocent, of course, but when old Mother SAUNDERS visited the jail yester- day and suggested a means of escape EZEKIAL tumbled too quick. He robed himself in his mother's frock, and, with his head bent and great sobs welling up from his heart, he passed the lynx-eyed jailer, and is now breathing the sweet air of freedom. Several hours later, when the jailer discovered MRS. SAUNDERS in EZEKIEL'S cell, and the regular prisoner missing, he was wroth - Detroit Evening Journal. ==========================================================================
