Bigelow, daughter of Daniel L. and Elmira (Fuller) Bigelow, natives of Vermont, was born in that State March 26, 1823. She came with her parents to the State of New York, and they afterward moved to Ohio, where they remained about 19 years, and finally moved to Michigan, settling in Newaygo County, where they passed the remainder of their lives. Miss Bigelow remained at home until after her mother’s death, then left her father’s home, and for 16 years lived in the township of Everett, this county. In the fall of 1880 she purchased 40 acres of land of A. P. Bigelow in Dayton Township, where she now resides. About 20 acres of this land is well improved. ===========================================================================
