The Muskegon Chronicle
Tuesday, 3 April, 1923

         WILLIAM WITHERELL of Ravenna, died Monday evening
       at Mercy hospital, after a short illness, aged fifty
       years. MR. WITHERELL was born in Ravenna township,
       where he has lived all his life. 
       
         He leaves one son, JOEL WITHERELL, of Grand Rapids,
       one sister and one brother, MRS. ED BURNS of Coopers-
       ville, and JOHN WITHERELL of Muskegon.
       
         The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock 
       Wednesday afternoon, at the Methodist Episcopal
       church, at Ravenna, Rev. William Mann, officiating.
       Burial will be in Ravenna Cemetery.

        Joel C. Witherell Jr. and Martha M. Green. Buried
        in the old section of Ravenna Twp. Cemetery, in 
        the family plot. No marker.]
