J. F. MAXFIELD died last night at her home, 32 John street, after a lingering illness. MRS. MAXFIELD was born in Vassar, Michigan, but has been a resident of this city for a number of years. She leaves, besides her husband, a daughter, LILLIAN MAXFIELD, and one sister, MRS. ETTIE ZACHRIAS of Millington, Mich. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the residence, 32 John street, Rev. W. L. Elmer officiating.
