HELEN MAXFIELD Resident 60 Years, Dies MRS. HELENE BAGG F. MAXFIELD, 60 (sic) years old, widow of the late JARED F. MAXFIELD, died early Saturday at her home 332 Jackson avenue, after an illness of several months. Born on Nov. 18, 1879, in Bavaria, Germany, she came to the United States with her parents settling in Muskegon in 1881 where she had lived since, 57 years of the 60 in the home where she died. She married FREDERICK THOMAS BAGG at Muskegon in 1897. He died here in 1919 and she married MR. MAXFIELD, Sept. 27, 1927. MR. MAXFIELD died at Muskegon on Dec. 14, 1939. She was a follower of Baha-i faith. MRS. MAXFIELD leaves two daughters, MRS. GEORGE D. NEAL and MRS. CHARLES C. DUFF, and two grand- daughters, all of Muskegon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Muskegon Chronicle Monday, 3 June, 1940 The memorial service for MRS. HELENE BAGG MAXFIELD, widow of the late JARED F. MAXFIELD, of 332 Jackson ave., will begin at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Balbirnie Mansion, Mrs. Robert Lee Maffett speaking, and the interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. ===============================================================================
