NELLIE KING, 67 Here for 60 Years, Dies MRS. NELLIE KATHERINE KING, 67 years old, a resident of Muskegon area for nearly 60 years, died Friday at her home, Muskegon R.R. 2, after a long illness. MR. (sic) KING was born on April 5, 1874, in West Virginia. She came to Muskegon in 1882 with her parents and settled in North Muskegon. She was married to THOMAS R. COWLES in Muskegon in 1894 and settled on a farm in Laketon where he died in 1919. She wed EDWARD KING in Muskegon in 1917. They also settled in Laketon township. She attended the North Muskegon Methodist church. Surviving is MR. KING, a daughter and four sons. They are MRS. DORA M. MOORE, of Muskegon, THOMAS M. COWLES and EDWIN E. COWLES, of Muskegon, ROBERT A. COWLES, of Lansing, and JOSEPH J. COWLES of Grayling. There are 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. ===============================================================================
