The Muskegon Chronicle
Friday, 5 May, 1944

         MRS. EMILY DAVIS, 64 years old, died Friday at the
       home of her daughter, R.R. 1, Fruitport, where she had
       made her home for the past seven years. Sher formerly
       lived in Muskegon. Her maiden name was EMILY L. COLE.
       
         MRS. DAVIS was a member of the Salvation Army.
         
         She is survived by three daughters, MRS FRANK VANDER
       HORST of Kalamazoo; MRS. F. W. LEE of Kansas City, Mo.,
       MRS. GEORGE HAGEN, Fruitport; one son, HOWARD C. DAVIS
       of Niles; four grandchildren; one sister, MRS. JAMES J.
       JOHNSON of Oak Park, Ill., a brother CHESTER A. COLE
       of New York City.

         DAVIS - MRS. EMILY LOUISE DAVIS, 64 years old, passed
       away this morning at the home of her daughter, MRS. GEO.
       HAGEN, R.R. No. 1 Fruitport. Funeral services will be 
       held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Clock Chapel, Interment
       in Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
