XII, No. 44 WHOLE NO. 356 WHITEHALL A coroner's inquest was held on Sunday on the body of JOHN WAGNER, an employee of Cone, Green & Co., found dead by the roadside. It appears that he left the village about nine o'clock Saturday evening for his home, some five miles dis- tant, and from the fact that a bottle partly filled with liquor was found with him, it is evident he had been drinking freely. He was about 35 years old, and only married about 4 months ago. The verdict was that he died from exposure. - FORUM
