REXFORD, a young man associated with C. Slaght in lumbering on Flat River, was instantly killed on Saturday last in breaking up a "roll way" about twenty miles northeast of Greenville. He and two other men were breaking up the "roll way," when it broke up. The two other men leaped into the river and escaped. REXFORD was hindered by stepping or stumbling, and a great log rolled over him. ===========================================================================
