         The Hon. DAVID A. NOBLE, ex-member of Congress, and
       oldest residents of Monroe county, died at his residence
       in Monroe, on Friday of last week, at the age of 76 years.
       MR. NOBLE was acknowledged as one of the ablest lawyers
       in the state.
