DAUB was born December 25, 1831, in Stark county, Ohio. She moved with her parents to DeKalb Co., Ind., when but a small girl. In 1860 she was united in marriage to LEVI B. POWELL. To this union were born five children, four sons and one daughter. Two sons and the daughter have gone on before. Two sons remain to mourn her loss. She was converted when a young woman and was a member of the U.B. church until 1895 when she united with the M.E. church at Auburn, Ind., and remained a member until death. In May, 1904, she came to Tallman, Mich., to make her home with her son, J. F. POWELL, where her death took place February 24, 1910, at the age of 78 years. Her youngest son, WILLIAM, came Saturday to attend the funeral which was held at Tallman U.B. church. Rev. Fred Stewart of Bachelor officiated. ===========================================================================
