The Ludington Record-Appeal
Thursday, 10 December, 1903

         Center Riverton -
         
         MRS. RHODA BRYAN died at her home in Riverton last
       Thursday and was buried in Center Riverton cemetery
       the following Monday. The funeral services were held
       at the St. Paul church, Rev. Rath and Mr. Hughes
       officiating. The large attendance indicated the love
       of friends for the kind and loving woman who has gone,
       and also the sympathy felt for MR. BRYAN and his sons.
       Mr. and Mrs. BRYAN came to their Riverton home in
       1861, veritable pioneers.
