Three of the four members of the family - husband, wife and little boy about six years old - were killed. A little girl about four years old escaped. The triple tragedy is similar to that of the HYTONEN family, at Ishpeming, the latter part of January. It is presumed the dynamite was placed under the two beds, which were in the same room, by the husband and father, FRANK SAARINEN. Coroner PRIN, who visited the scene of the tragedy yesterday morning, secured a group photograph of the family and several letters written in Finnish which he had not had translated in English when this paper went to press. SAARINEN came to this country a few years ago. Coroner PRINS says he thinks he worked at the Negaunee mine. Mrs. SAARINEN and the two children came from Finland only two weeks ago, according to information given the coroner. It is supposed SAARINEN was despondent. The boy slept in the father's bed, while the little girl, who escaped death, was in the mother's bed. Two other families occupied the house, but fortunately none of the members were injured by the dynamite explosions. SAARINEN and family occupied rooms at the rear of the house on the first floor. The rooms were in neat condition and comfortably furnished. The members of the family seemed to be fairly well supplied with articles of wearing apparel. ==========================================================================
