Deputy Sheriff Downing of Ishpeming, captured the murderer of James Cashen at Gladstone Tuesday morning. The man is fully identified as the one who stabbed Cashen to death in Ishpeming last week. He had one hand badly cut. Downing did excellent work on the case, capturing both men who were implicated. The prisoners are in Marquette jail, being taken there to prevent a lynching that might result had they been taken to Ishpeming. ===========================================================================
