SHANAHAN of the 4th ward dropped dead on Wednes- day last. A man by the name of A. POMQUETTE committed suicide by jumping from the dock on Thursday. On Saturday a little boy three years old the son of J. GLOVER of Pleasanton, fell into a pail of hot water and was so badly scalded that he lived but a few hours. ===============================================================================
