         FREEMAN WEBB died at his residence in Putnam on the
       morning of the 1st inst. He moved to this State about
       thirty-seven years ago, and settled upon his farm in
       Putnam, where he has since resided. He was honored with
       many positions of trust, having been twelve times elected
       Supervisor of this town, twice president of the Livingston
       County Fire Insurance Company, besides many other minor
       offices.
