         Killed by a Fall - MR. SAMUEL ROGERS, of Macon, in
       this county, was suddenly killed a few days since. He
       was at work in the barn, and went up stairs to get
       something, and, while there, stepped on the end of a
       board that was not nailed, and fell, striking his head
       on the floor beneath. It killed him instantly. His age
       was about 72 years.
