         Death of a Pioneer - ROSWELL W. KNIGHT, a pioneer of
       the town of Riga, in this county, died at his residence,
       at Knight's Station, on Monday morning, March 13th. MR.
       KNIGHT came to this county in 1838, from Canton, Pennsyl-
       vania, his native place, and has been extensively engaged
       in business, in clearing up land in Riga, in manufacturing
       lumber, and in mercantile pursuits. He was several times
       elected as Supervisor of the town.
