The Charlevoix Sentinel
Tuesday, 7 June, 1881

         WILL BROWN, formerly of Norwood, was very seriously
       injured in a saw mill at Sutton's Bay Friday. He was
       gumming a saw on a very swiftly running grindstone,
       when the stone broke into three pieces, one of them
       striking him on his left side, breaking his ribs and
       injuring him internally. His life is despaired of.
       Later - A dispatch states that MR. BROWN died Sunday.
       MR. BROWN was well known in this county, and had many
       friends who will sincerely mourn his untimely taking
       off.
