Thursday, 11 February 1875

         A German, named AUGUSTUS WAGNER, committed suicide
       by hanging himself in his stable, near McDonald's
       foundry, Lapeer city, about noon Feb. 3. He leaves a
       wife and eight children in destitute circumstances.
       The trouble of supporting so large a family seems to
       have been the cause of the act.
