JOHN PEDRICK was in the act of cutting down a large pine tree, a heavy dead limb fell with a terrible crash upon his head, stunning and crushing the poor man to the earth without warning or mercy. The young man's injuries were so severe that death ensued about 20 hours after the accident. The occurrence took place near Rogers & Joness' Mill, in the town of Attica in that County. ===========================================================================
