XIII. OLD SERIES, NO. 43 Death notice: Geo. Haynes, about 55 years of age, employed at William Buck's camp in Oregon township, Lapeer county, was killed Wednesday afternoon by a tree falling on him. He was a resident of Lapeer and leaves a wife. The same newspaper later has this: George Haynes, aged 44 years was killed instantly by a falling tree at Buck's lumber camp, six miles northwest of Lapeer, Wednesday afternoon. ===========================================================================
