         Tuesday morning ISAAC EVANS, a resident of Lapeer,
       fell from a small load of straw and broke his neck,
       from which death ensued instantly. He was 60 years
       of age, a retired farmer, highly respected, and has
       resided in that city and the immediate vicinity for
       39 years.
