         Lapeer is getting to be quite a city. The police
       "pulled" a house of ill-fame March 8, kept by MARY
       BRODY, and arrested the proprietress, her husband,
       WM. BRODY, NELLIE WARNER, and CARRIE SMITH. Justice
       McNAMARA fined MRS. BRODY $10, CARRIE SMITH, $10,
       and let NELLIE WARNER off on suspended sentence.
