Page & Co., Chicago, 1884 Page 42 H. A. CURRIER, the firm of H. A. Currier & Bro., was born at Topsham, Vt., April 23, 1840. Came to Almont with his parents in the year 1847, and was educated in the schools of Almont. At the age of sixteen he learned the machinist's trade in his father's shops. In 1869 he bought the business of Currier, Moses & Co., an interest in which he sold in 1870 to his brother FRED P. CURRIER, Jr., forming the present firm. He was married in October, 1868, to Miss MARY E. CHARTER, of Northport, Mich. ===========================================================================
