TREUBATH, clerk of the Cliff Mining Company since 1876; was born in Cornwall, England, September 26, 1849; was educated in England, and came to America in 1862, arriving in the Lake Superior country September 29, of that year; he located at the Cliff Mine where he was employed in the stamp mills of that company for some time; he subsequently engaged as teacher of the Cliff School, and continued in that vocation six years.
