         WITHERILL -
         
         JOHN WITHERILL, aged 82, of 231 Mt. Vernon av., N.W.,
       passed away Friday night at City General Hospital. He
       is survived by five nephews, IVAN, EDWARD and FRANK
       BURNS, JOEL WITHERILL and EARL McCORD; a niece, MRS.
       MAUDE HART, of Grand Rapids. MR. WITHERILL reposes at
       the Alt Mortuary where funeral services will be held
       Monday morning at 10:30. Interment at Ravenna, Mich.
       
       Transcriber's Note: The surname is spelled wrong.
       Correct spelling is WITHERELL. He was the son of 
       Joel C. Witherell and Martha M. Green (both bur.
       Ravenna Twp. Cem.) He was born on 8 January, 1870.
