NETA KOLASSE of North Washington avenue, was instantly killed in Grand Rapids Wednesday afternoon when he fell 30 feet from a tree in Grand Rapids. MR. SCHULTE, who was employed by the city forestry department of Grand Rapids, was trimming the tree from which he fell. Born Aug. 26, 1926, in Grand Rapids, MR. SCHULTE attended St. Simon's school here. He served with the United States Navy in the Pacific area in World war II. He was a member of Ludington lodge No. 367, Loyal Order of Moose, and of the Eagles in Grand Rapids. Besides his mother, he is survived by his step- father, VERN KOLASSE; six sisters, MRS. ERNEST MOERS of Wayne, MRS. OLIVER WILLIS and MRS. LEON GROWE, both of Grand Rapids, and BARBARA, CAROLE and KATHRYN KOLASSE, at home. The body is at Van-Striem-Alman funeral home in Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from St. Alphonzo's church in Grand Rapids. ===========================================================================
