           DIED - Another old scaler who has lived long in this 
         county has just died in Oshtemo, ENOCH HARRIS. MR. HARRIS 
         has lived on the same farm for over forty years and been 
         esteemed as an upright and industrious man by his neigh-
         bors, perhaps none the less so because he was a colored 
         man. He was fully equal to his neighbors, superior to 
         many of them, as a farmer, and especially as a horticult-
         urist. He leaves a wife, children and grandchildren, and 
         a considerable fortune to be shared among them.
