MUNRO COOPER; of Grass Lake, were received at that village for interment, last Friday, from Burlington, Iowa. MR. COOPER and fam- ily had started for the West, to seek a new home. At a little town about 70 miles west of Burlington, MR. COOPER was afflicted with what appeared to be a boil on his upper lip, which seemed to affect his head quite seriously, so much so that he thought best to return to his brother's in Grass Lake. They reached Burlington, and he grew worse so rapidly that it was necessary to stop off from the train. A physician was called, and he stated to MR. COOPER that it was a case of putrid erysipelas, and he must die. MRS. COOPER immediately telegraphed to S. W. COOPER, who started on the first train for the West, but did not arrive in time to see his brother alive. The train, on account of the great rains, was considerably behind time. He found the body had been put up in a casket, and was ready to be forwarded. In fifty minutes from his arrival in Burlington, he was on his return home. The funeral services were held in the Baptist church at Grass Lake, on Sunday. He leaves a wife and two daughters to mourn his sudden death. ===============================================================================
