LUKE WELCH DIES Word was received here Friday morning of the death of MRS. LUKE WELCH, which occurred in Chicago, where she had been for the past few months in a hospital. Early last fall MRS. WELCH went to Florida to spend the winter, but found the climate uncongenial and coupled with her illness was compelled to return to her home in Crystal Falls. Upon arriving in Chicago her condition was of such that she was compelled to go to a hospital, where she has since been. The news of her death comes as a shock to this com- munity, as she was well known, having made her home here in former years. The funeral will be held upon the arrival of the remains at Crystal Falls, with interment in the city cemetery alongside those of her deceased husband, the late LUKE WELCH. Transcriber's Note: Mrs. Luke Welch had a name of her own which was Fredericka Welch. ===============================================================================
