He was attended by several surgeons and nurses, but before he had been in the institution an hour his case was pro- nounced hopeless. He was conscious long enough to give his address as 193 Chestnut street, Boston, Mass., although in semi- consciousness he had given other names and addresses. Telegrams were sent to is relatives in Boston informing them of his death.
