WADE, 35, securities salesman with E. A. Pierce & Co., Sunday afternoon drove from his home at East Lansing to a deserted spot on a road east of Holt and took his hown life with a gun. WADE lived at 509 Cowley street, East Lansing. He had been outside salesman for the Pierce brokerage house, with offices in the Capital National bank building for about a year. Prior to this connection he was with the Central Trust company, Lansing. He had gone to Toledo Saturday and had expected to remain there until Monday. He returned Sunday, however, and in the afternoon drove his car to a point one mile east of Holt where he shot himself in the temple with a revolver. Leaves Widow, Three Sons Harry Reinhart, deputy sheriff, was called from the sheriff's office at Mason and Wilbur Seelye, Mason lawyer, acted as coroner. MR. WADE is survived by the widow, HELEN M. WADE; three sons, BENJAMIN S., JR., GEORGE S., and THOMAS; his mother, MRS. KATHERINE WADE of Toledo, and two sisters, Miss ALICE R. WADE of Toledo and Mrs. MARGARET POWELL of California. The body was taken to the Jarvis-Estes Funeral home and was sent Monday to Toledo, O., where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Collingwood memorial. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery there. ===========================================================================
