         DIED -
         
         On Wednesday, June 1st, Mr. ALVA M. RALF, of this city,
       aged 48 years.
       
         MR. RALF died at Jackson, but his remains were brought
       home, and were buried from the Capital, on Friday after-
       noon, with Masonic ceremonies. He was an old resident of
       Michigan, and for some years had driven the Plank and
       Jackson stages.
