MARY J. HOLLEY, for many years familiarly known to her many friends as "AUNT MARY." MRS. HOLLEY, whose maiden name was MARY CALDWELL, was born June 27, 1883, in Syracuse, N.Y. She came to Michigan in 1852, and was later married to ALFRED J. HOLLEY, who died in 1890. Both Mr. and Mrs. HOLLEY were pioneer members of the Mason Baptist church, and figured in the early history of the church. For a time after their marriage they lived with the family of REUBEN BULLEN, near North Aurelius. Later they settled on the farm where they have since lived. For many years there was a pretentious home on the farm. This house, however, was destroyed by a fire but a few years ago. Since then a new and smaller home has been erected, and MRS. HOLLEY had lived there with her son, DELBERT. She leaves besides this son, two daughters, MRS. MELVILLE HILTON, of North Aurelius, and MRS. ALFRED WELCH, of Delhi, and a son, CHARLES, of Denver, Colorado. Also several grandchildren. The funeral was held this afternoon, from the North Aurelius church, Rev. Newberry, of Mason, officiating. ===============================================================================
