Word was received at Houghton this morning of the death at the Northern Hospital for the Insane at Newberry of HENRY WILLIAMS of Baltic. MR. WILLIAMS was taken to the retreat about six weeks ago, this being the second time he had been to the hospital for treatment for mental derangements resulting from paralytic strokes. It was the third one of these strokes, suffered at an early hour this morning, that caused the death of MR. WILLIAMS, he being 58 years of age. The deceased was one of the best known and most respected residents of this county, hav- ing resided here for the past thirty years. He was born in Cornwall and came to America and the Lake Superior copper region when a young man. Most all of his life he was em- ployed as a miner in the Franklin mine and had a host of friends on the range. Besides his widow, MR. WILLIAMS is survived by four daughters and three sons. One of the latter, WILLIAM of Baltic, has gone to New- berry to care for the remains of the dead man and the funeral, which will be held from the family home, will be arranged upon his return here with the body tomorrow. ==========================================================================
