         Married:
         In Rockland on the 11th inst., at the residence of the bride's
       father, by Rev. Mr. Frazer, Mr. THOMAS D. MEARS, of Hancock, and
       Miss ELIZABETH H. ANTHONY. No cards. Although it has certainly
       been a great misfortune for the newly joined couple to find their
       intended home a mass of charred ruins, we hope the happiness of
       their future life will prove a most ample compensation for any
       temporary loss and deprivation that may at present afflict them.
