The huge chimney collapsed upon the west wing of the infirmary, wrecking it completely and burying several persons in the debris. The dead were: Fred Jarvey, 38, of South Range; Miss Cordelia Trudeau, of Chassell, and Mrs. Ida Anderson, of Tapiola. Miss Trudeau, Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Minnie Johnson were buried in the wreckage and had to be dug out by fire- men. Mrs. Johnson is suffering from shock and a fractured shoulder.
