FRANK was an active boy and was getting to be a fine business young man. He was killed on the 3d. Hillsdale, July 3d, 1869 A sad accident occurred here last evening by the pre- mature discharge of a piece of fireworks called a "mine," by which FRANK WISE, a young man about twenty years of age, was fatally injured. Both his eyes were blown out and his face terribly disfigured, and he died about noon to-day. He came here only a few weeks since, from Ypsi- lanti, and was the son of D. A. WISE, a miller, who purchased the Pixley Mills. He was taken to Brewer and Johnson's office, where he died in 15 minutes. He was buried Monday afternoon, all the business houses in the city being closed during the funeral at the request of the Mayor. ===============================================================================
