JOHN FITZGERALD, of Jefferson, in this county was struck by Lightning causing the latter of MRS. FITZGERALD, aged seventy years. The Lightning struck MRS. F. on the neck and breast, which she survived about twenty four hours. At the time she was the only person in the house and was found after the storm insensible on the floor. A gold earring which she wore in the left ear was missing and supposed to have been melted by the fluid. ===========================================================================
