T. SULLIVAN, a hand on the steamer Champion, fell overboard and was drowned on the evening of the 23d ult. MR. SULLIVAN was a resident of this village, and has left a wife and several small children, who were dependent upon him for support. - Died - In Jonesville, on Sunday morning, the 4th inst. DERIUS C., son of DEWITT C. and CAROLINE A. PECK, aged 3 years, 6 months, and 23 days. In this village, on the 28th inst., after a short illness, AMANDA M., eldest daughter of JOHN P. and BETSY COOK, in the 7th year of her age. ------------------------------------------------------ The Hillsdale Whig Standard Tuesday, 20 October 1846 - Died - In this Village, on the 17th inst., PHILIP E. BRONSON, in the 40th year of his age. It will be recollected that we recorded the death of MRS. BRONSON, wife of the deceased, in our last number. At that time MR. B. was believed to be recovering from a long and severe illness, but an unexpected relapse swept away the hopes of his friends. - Though the deceased had been but a short time a citizen of our village, a large circle of acquain- tances mourn over a dispensation which has taken from amongst us the parents of four little children. (Transcriber's Note: I have looked through the previous issue several times and there is no death notice found for Mrs. Bronson, or anyone else, in it.) ===========================================================================
